An Extraordinary Film Journey: Join Me at the Completed Life Initiative Film Festival
Today, I'm writing about something different from our usual focus on fashion and sustainability.
Hello eco warriors,
I hope this newsletter finds you well amidst our bustling and vibrant city life of NYC.
Today, I'm writing about something different from our usual focus on fashion and sustainability. I'm inviting you to a unique experience close to my heart, one I've had the honor of helping bring to life due to my marketing and event coordination background.
Introducing the Completed Life Initiative Film Festival, a distinctive event that invites us all to explore the profound questions of life, death, happiness, and human connection.
Taking place at the Symphony Space in NYC, the festival will screen a curated selection of award-winning feature films and documentaries that delve deep into the art of living (and dying), the power of human connection, and the triumph of love amidst end-of-life choices.
Our film schedule for the day is as follows:
1:00pm - Moon Manor (1h 43m)
3:30pm - Jack Has a Plan (1h 13m) + Director Q&A and Catered Reception
6:30pm - Last Flight Home (1h 46m) + Director Q&A and Open Bar Reception
The films tackle challenging yet crucial subjects - from a man's last day alive filled with humor and zest in 'Moon Manor' to a heartwarming journey of a man living with a terminal brain tumor in 'Jack Has a Plan' to the extraordinary life of Air Florida's founder during his final days in 'Last Flight Home.'
Our two receptions allow you to meet the filmmakers, chat and connect with other attendees, and share insights about these thought-provoking films. We're proud to announce Q&As with Bradley Berman, award-winning director of 'Jack Has a Plan,' and Ondi Timoner, Emmy award-nominated director of 'Last Flight Home.'
The Completed Life Initiative Film Festival is different from your ordinary film event. It's an opportunity to explore essential conversations and build connections in a warm, shared space.
I would be delighted if you could join me in this remarkable journey of emotions and introspection. Let's together appreciate the art of cinema and the profound messages it conveys about the human experience.
